Barroca is a film and art production company based in Goiânia, Goiás. Created in 2014 by Camilla Margarida, Henrique Borela, Marcela Borela and Rafael C. Parrode, it develops and creates audiovisual projects of various production methods and languages. Responsible for the creation, implementation and overall direction of the FRONTEIRA – International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival, the company was created to formalize works already carried out by the four founding partners, using each one’s personal experiences as motivation for the production, exhibition, training, reflection and diffusion of audiovisual media.

Always mindful of the artistic and technical quality of the projects, the production company seeks situations that transit between cinematographic and artistic genres. It collaborates with high-impact cultural platforms such as CineAlmofada, Conexão Samambaia, Manga de Vento and Frestas – Programa de Artes Integradas.
